Data-driven designer
Hi I’m Vivian Yu
In the year 2021, I was offered a scholarship to study at the University of San Francisco for a master's degree and have been a product designer for the past 5 years.
My friends would call me “the person that brings everyone together” 🧑🤝🧑

Before Tech
Before venturing into tech, I spent five years in the fashion industry after taking sustainable fashion at the University of the Arts London. Discovering that fashion was the second most polluting industry shocked me, and I decided to pivot.
A Westfield project to boost foot traffic at Westfield Shopping Center sparked my passion for user experience design. This led me to take a UX course at General Assembly, where I fell in love with the problem-solving process. Our project stood out among 200 others, and I presented to the Westfield London board. This experience transitioned my career from in-house designer to product designer, where I now create data-driven solutions focused on growth.
